As a Pricing Analytics and Administration Manager you will leverage deep data analytics and data mining skills to deliver insights that will optimize pricing & profitability, enable realization of deal desk and drive margin expansion globally. You will be accountable for day to day pricing administration and a critical member of the Global Pricing and Analytics team, work with other pricing analytics managers and analysts in the areas below:



Pricing and Deal Modeling/Shaping (DEAL DESK)

  • Deploy best-in-class pricing analytics, models and research methods for analyzing portfolio segmentation, leakage, price testing, demand elasticity and competitive intelligence to develop compelling, insightful recommendations on deal pricing to senior management
  • Enable pragmatic customer and product segmentation
  • Develop and maintain a system for automated data collection and generate Tableau dashboards to improve data sharing within the organization


Directly manages parts of the Pricing team to enable the realization of future pricing operating model


  • Develop and manage the measurement of contract compliance and post-deal performance for all BU’s and across the portfolio.
  • Lead implementation of operating model elements such as business rules, RACIs, behavioral metrics, pricing processes and monitor compliance using pricing software and other automated methods
  • Coordinate systematic rollout of pricing software system, collect refinements and act as the interface between sales teams and IT to guide system enhancements


Global Product Management and Optimization: Work closely with product management to:


  • Optimize product costs across multiple sites for dynamic asset allocation and supply chain network design for all key products globally
  • Optimize product portfolio reducing product complexity but identifying opportunities to maximize price performance through new product or product name introduction
  • Develop models to understand manufacturing and logistics costs to serve for key products


Pricing performance monitoring and reporting: Work with offshore/onshore analytics team to


  • Report pricing performance as related to price, volume, mix and FX capture on at least a monthly basis along with insights and recommendations to track against business plan for each business globally
  • Develop pricing performance reporting metrics and methods for all contract types and all products including equipment
  • Devise smart methods for capturing pricing performance when data logging and extraction is manual due to system limitations
  • Develop professional reports, presentations and dashboards for senior executives


Pricing Administration and Price Book maintenance: Lead a team of pricing administrators to:


  • Maintain active prices for all products and customers teaming with salesforce
  • Manage contracts, monitor lifecycle, price opener calendar and price improvement opportunities
  • Ensure price books are current in the pricing software working with Regional Pricing Directors and Product Management


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or Chemical Engineering preferred MS/PhD in analytics or MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of relevant quantitative analytics experience.
  • 2-3+ years consulting experience in a top strategy firm preferred.
  • Leadership Capabilities: Must have proven capability in the following - Team Builder, People Developer, Planning & Execution Facilitator, Relationship Builder, and Business Expert.
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment, dealing with conflicting requests, and prioritizing work requests
  • Ability to identify opportunities for business value and process improvement, communicate strategies, and champion adoption to achieve desired results
  • Results oriented and strives for continuous improvement. Demonstrates innovation and searches for what is possible.
  • Knowledge of B2B pricing and administration will be considered a plus
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, SAP is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required #LI-EN1
