Description

The Salesforce Administrator Expert is responsible for developing and managing the relationship between IT and global commercial unit related to the CRM platform as well other commercial organization tools and applications.  This includes assisting in the prioritization of projects, ensuring projects align with technology that delivers the maximum return on investment (ROI), and directing IT strategy that aligns with the overall business strategy. He/she contributes to and manages projects from initiation to implementation. Responsible for functional and technical blue-print creation and proper hand off to offshore technical teams, when needed.   Ensures proper delivery of requirements and on time project delivery.  Requires strong analytical skills, business analysis skills, excellent customer service skills.   Works independently in a fast paced environment to achieve goals within required timeframes.  Salesforce admin certification.

 

Business Partnership, Processes & Data:

  • Understand business issues and help provide insights into solving those issues through technology.  Conduct meetings with business leaders to create business (functional and non-functional) requirements
  • Work with extended teams to conduct brainstorming sessions to bring the best solutions to the business issues by actively involving the right IT resources during th requirements gathering sessions to ensure alignment to prepare any requirements documents.
  • Create work flow diagrams that includes data and process flows to help the business and technical teams understand the solutions visually. This should include any email templates and alert notifications if needed to ensure the workflow meets the business needs.
  • Create or assist business users training documents for any new functionalities that is being release.  Conduct active training sessions to ensure the users or the “train the trainer” fully understands the new functionalities.
  • Work with standard objects and create new custom objects, fields, picklists, page layouts, validation rules, process builders, triggers, custom tabs and components.
  • Works with the commercial teams to document the organization hierarchy as they evolve and create profiles and roles accordingly in Salesforce; work on visibility and security settings around them.
  • Design different reports and custom dashboards for various user groups based on their business functionalities and needs.
  • Responsible for any work associated with data management including, data mapping, migration, minding, profiling and data modeling.  Always documenting changes in definitions or processes for historical references
  • Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team and establishing project budget
  • Conduct user acceptance testing to verify performance, reliability and identify any issues
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed, follows through on commitments, and pushes self and others to deliver exceptional results.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through clear, concise and professional presentations and communications.
  • True team player with a great attitude towards “can dos” and finding creative ways to develop solutions.
  • Build and leverage relationships with management, key business stakeholders and external organizations. Review demand, projects, tasks and deliverables frequently and change priorities or scope in coordination with ever-changing customer needs.
  • Ensures the business understands the technology solutions, overall solution delivery, opportunities for enhancements and compliance to governance processes, architecture standards, etc.
  • Partner with the business to maintain, track, enhance, optimize and improve their technology experiences.
  • Proactively search out and identify new opportunities to innovate, streamline, and optimize the business processes with the goal of digital transformation, ease of use, and real-time data availability and delivery on any device for the business to make effective real-time decisions.
  • Influence the business to change where necessary and appropriate.
  • Partner with the business to identify, document, and communicate/share standard business processes.
  • Enhance or improve the customer experience on a continuous basis. Provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through clear, concise and professional presentations and communications.

 

 Project Management:

  • Develops and executes technology strategies/projects that provide a competitive edge for the business unit and delivers the maximum ROI.
  • Assists business unit leaders ( Global & Regional ) in prioritizing projects and prepares the cost-benefit analysis for those projects.
  • Provide senior leadership with regular project status & reporting.
  • Manages IT projects through the project management cycle in cross functional teams
  • Contributes to the IT annual budgeting and planning process. Controls and tracks IT expenditures against the budget.

 

Training & User experience:

  • Develops and educates the business community on IT innovations and awareness programs.
  • Prepare and perform customer training, procedural manuals, job aids, & work flow curriculums.
  • Work with the business to identify and deliver best practices and tips on application usage
  • Produce and improve overall documentation related to new functionality or significant enhancements to existing functionality.

 

Application maintenance / enhancement:

  • Co-manages and interacts with the resolver teams, responsible for maintaining, supporting, and upgrading systems and applications in support of business operations. (including cooperation with the SAP & web methods team)
  • Collaborates with the other BRMs to identify, establish and standardize, where applicable, technology applications.
  • Work with vendor support and other external third party support teams to resolve user issues.
  • Responsible for configuration, customization & enhancements oversight. Functional and technical blue-printing and proper hand-off to technical off short teams for actual implementation. At times, hands on technical configuration required Security support and oversight of the applications.
  • Manages the off-shore support team for quick incident resolution and on time delivery of projects and enhancements.

 

Technical Aptitude:

  • Salesforce Admin Certification (Adm 201)
  • Experience in managing multiple Enterprise Orgs with User Base of 1,500+
  • Good understanding of SFDC and Database Mgmt Structure Best Practices
  • Experience in custom development in Sales and Service Cloud
  • Lightning Experience Org migration and Best practices
  • Understanding of Project management methodologies (SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile)
  • Full understanding of SFDC Security architecture
  • Ability to build Executive Reports and Dashboards
  • Proficient in Apex Data loader, import, export of Data into SFDC
  • Prior experience and knowledge of 3rd party App Exchange solutions

 

Qualifications

  • BA/BS - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, MIS, business or equivalent required 
  • Minimum 3-5 years previous experience as a Business/Systems Analyst
  • High degree of professional confidence and credibility with an effective presence, strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate technical concepts and plans at all levels 
  • Strong problem solving, priority setting, facilitation, multi-tasking, analytical, and collaboration skills. 
  • Ability to consider upstream and downstream process impacts and implications. 
  • Strong understanding of project methodologies including Waterfall and Agile. 
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional business process analysis and design
  • SFDC certified
