    This key role will be aligned to a specific region and/or business unit and will be accountable for setting overall pricing strategy for a subset of SBU’s in the BU/region. Specific accountabilities include:

    • Reviewing deals and providing advice on improving pricing/profitability
    • Setting pricing policies
    • Administering prices
    • Price performance tracking

    Additional role responsibilities:

    • Responsible for pocket price leakage visibility and control for specific SBU’s
    • Competitive intelligence gathering and developing specific counter strategies
    • Historical price analysis
    • Recommend on account level pricing, including deal structures
    • Advise teams on contracts and pricing agreement structuring, and use of formula or index based pricing when necessary
    • Be a steward for preserving value of differentiated products and services
    • Price List creation
    • New product pricing
    • Communication of price internally
    • Price Book management and update
    • Terms compliance tracking
    • Transactional price analytics
    • Exception approvals and monitoring
    • Price upload into SFDC or other future system
    • Post-deal win/loss analytics
    • Price history and tracking


    • 4 year BS degree in a business discipline. MBA Preferred.
    • 8+ years’ experience and a track record of results in pricing administration, setting price policy, improving profitability and tracking of price performance. Strong relationship, communication, and collaboration leadership skills are essential.
    • Chemical & Manufacturing experience highly desired
