As a Procurement Specialist, Logistics you will be responsible for managing all transportation rate requests from internal stakeholders and working with suppliers to address those needs. The role requires performing data analyses to investigate cost savings opportunities that support the sourcing strategy and track realized savings across modes of transportation on a monthly basis. The role includes understanding the logistics spend category and monitoring supply market and supplier performance. The successful candidate will work closely with the Supply Chain, Customer Service and Global Trade Management teams to ensure that cost reduction is achieved with expected on-time delivery and safety performance goals.
A function of this role will also include Fleet Management duties for our 400+ company vehicles. This includes updating applicable databases and reports. Ensuring the accuracy of the vehicle data between the vendor database and Solenis systems such as Human Resources employment status. It will be the Fleet Managers responsibility to drive costs out of the fleet spend in NA with fleet policy compliance, maintenance requests, optimization of fuel costs etc.
