    Description

    Education: High School Diploma or GED

    Experience: 4 years industrial experience or technical/industrial education

    Training: On-the-job training in the specific work area. Safety and environmental training in house.

    Competencies:
    Possess the ability and initiative to learn to perform safely, efficiently and accurately the duties of the current position as well as the duties of the next operator level. Ability, aptitude, attitude, dependability and training as indicated in Section VII (a) of the Labor Agreement. Demonstrate competency in their job as stated in the benchmarks for each operator level.
    4. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb stairs throughout the day

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Knowledge of chemical manufacturing and related equipment, safe chemical handling/ packaging, ability to safely operate a powered industrial truck.
    • Computer Skills (MS word, Excel, Lotus notes, SAP)
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills, a sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize work, and the mind-set for safety and attention to detail.  Good Teamwork skills.  Ability to perform manual labor including walking up and down stairs, climbing on and off forklift, crouching to make tie in for rail car unloading and  lifting up to 50 lbs.
    • Must legally  be able to work in the US. 
    • Must be fluent in English
