    This position reports to the Senior Accountant - Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting.  The Senior Accountant - Compliance will be responsible for coordinating with regional controllers to assist with global statutory filings, helping to ensure timely and accurate filing of all such filings, as well as communicating current status with key stakeholders within the Finance and Legal departments at Corporate Headquarters. Furthermore, the Senior Accountant - Compliance will be responsible for documenting compliance with financial reporting controls surrounding the Company's existing accounting, financial reporting, consolidations, and other processes. Additional responsibilities will include ad hoc techincal accounting and financial reporting items as they arise.


    Key Role Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate with regional controllers to ensure the timely filing of Statutory Financial Statements. Specific tasks will include the following (not a complete list):
    1. Status update calls with regional controllers and auditors
    2. Review and approve statutory financial statements and bridge files
    3. Coordinating with the Legal Department to prepare and gather necessary documents and signatures for filing
    4. Perform calculations and technical accounting research in the context of statutory audits
    5. 5Communicating results and status to stakeholders at Corporate Headquarters
    • Document control procedures performed by the finance function at large in connection with emerging SOX requirements.
    • Assist the Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Deparmtent, and the Controller's Function at large, with ad hoc Technical Accounting, Financial Reporting, and other projects which may emerge from time to time due to transactions undertaken in the Company's broader strategic interests.
    • Support the Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Departments broader vision for a more automated and forward-thinking finance department by identifying and implementing automated solutions for mundane, non-judgmental tasks.
    • Perform Technical Accounting research related to complex transactions within the context of Statutory Reporting and provide journal entries to be recorded to adequately reflect such entries in SAP, OneStream, or in local bridge files and maintaining supporting documentation to provide to local teams and auditors.
    • Promote efficiency within the statutory reporting process by planning and implementing the migration of the Company's statutory reporting process away from Microsoft Word/Excel & SAP-centric model to a WDesk/Workiva and OneStream-centric model.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
    • Minimum two (2) years of financial accounting experience
    • Experience with Statutory Reporting and SOX is preferable, but not required
    • CPA or working toward CPA preferred
