Solenis has recently completed a merger with BASF’s wet-end paper and water chemical business, which substantially increases Solenis’ global presence in the water treatment and process chemicals business. Additionally, the Tax Department’s leadership has been restructured to transform the Department into a highly visible and collaborative player within Solenis’ Finance Group. The Tax Department is a fast-paced, dynamic group whose goal is to provide timely and accurate information to internal- and external-stakeholders while providing an inclusive and growth-oriented environment. While all positions have busy times during the year, we are committed to providing a work-life balance outside of busy-season. Solenis is currently located north of Wilmington (within a mile of the Pennsylvania-state border) but will be moving to a larger, custom-designed, state-of-the art building within close proximity to our existing location by January, 2020. Given these exciting developments, we have added a Senior Tax Analyst role that will assist in crucial functions to include: transfer pricing, tax research and planning, due diligence, acquisition structuring, compliance, and special projects.
Assist in monitoring and assessing updates in Transfer Pricing Guidelines to include planning and country-by-country (CbCr) reporting in relation to the OECDs BEPS initiative.
Stay current in regard industry developments and technical competencies using internal and external resources and associations;
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar program
2-4 years of related public accounting tax experience and/or multi-national corporate tax department
CPA license (preferred)
Minimal Travel (less than 10%) is expected
