    Solenis is seeking a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist / Product Steward in Wilmington, DE. The position is responsible for the regulatory compliance of Solenis chemical products supporting water treatment and pulp and paper markets in North America. Candidates should have strong working knowledge of US and Canadian regulatory compliance topics and possess excellent prioritization and communicate skills.


    • Maintain regulatory records, manage and update regulatory system data in various databases.
    • Review new product introductions for compliance with relevant regional regulatory requirements
    • Monitor regulatory activity and identify non-compliance issues or risks
    • Maintain knowledge of relevant, new and emerging regulations and legislation relating to global chemicals management.
    • Manage prepare and submit product notifications and regulatory clearances as needed
    • Liaise with regulatory authorities receive final substance approvals, registrations and certifications
    • Communicate project status and timelines for regulatory approvals to the business and technology teams
    • Provide process and compliance training related to North American regulations to all stakeholders
    • Globally align North American compliance projects


    • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a scientific field is required. Master’s degree in Chemistry or Microbiology is preferred. Other scientific disciplines with organic chemistry coursework/experience will be accepted.
    • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Product Stewardship role in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • English fluency.
    • Ability to work as a member of a team in a timeline-driven environment with limited supervision.
    • A detail-oriented work ethic while handling multiple ongoing projects/tasks is required.
    • Knowledge and experience with North American regulations (e.g. TSCA, DSL, FDA, CFIA, etc.)
    • PMN and NSN filing experience is preferred.
    • FCN and LONO filing experience is preferred.
    • Experience communicating and negotiating with government agencies.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills
    • Basic understanding of toxicology and ecotoxicology
    • Flexibility and adaptability to dynamic organizational priorities is critical for job success
    • Experience with SAP is preferred.
