    • Support Indirect Sourcing-North America with cost out initiatives and supplier management
    • Identify synergy opportunities between business units and facilities to achieve cost out and supplier consolidation
    • Management of indirect spend categories including material purchases, labor services, capital projects and corporate services with a goal to optimize programs and cost out opportunities
    • Negotiate contracts and purchases of indirect materials and services to ensure best conditions for Solenis
    • Utilizing spend data to identify cost savings opportunities and supplier consolidation
    • Coordinating sourcing initiatives with global team as applicable with focus on North America
    • Managing diverse cross-functional teams to implement programs
    • Building positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
    • Utilizing e-technologies (ie.e-RFP’s, Internet searches, reverse auctions, etc.)
    • Ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety, and Responsible Care programs.


    • Minimum 2-3-years of sourcing experience.
    • Knowledge of contract and pricing terms and conditions.
    • Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred.
    • Ability to work effectively in a geographically distributed organization.
    • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
    • Working knowledge of SAP.
    • Excellent organization capabilities and project management skills.
    • Data analysis skills - Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point and their higher level functions such as pivot tables, v-look, formulas, etc.
    • Problem solving skills.
    • Ability to identify, understand and provide prioritization of actions to all elements of the organization.
    • Ability to work in a very diverse and matrixed environment across a broad group of multi-functional stakeholders.
