    The Chemical Handler performs product packaging, raw material offloading, inventory / warehouse management and product shipment roles within plant. Duties will include donning PPE, operating forklift, managing safety around chemicals, packaging products, processing paperwork, executing SAP transactions, and shipping quality products to customers.  Shift is noon-8pm


    Other role responsibilites:

    • Performs all work with highest regard for safety.
    • Duties will include aspects that related to identification of hazards, donning respirators and PPE, ensuring proper permitting prior to work commencement, preparation of large vehicles and operation of fork lifts with larger loads.
    • Complies with all plant rules in regard to Process Safety Management, Responsible Care and Emergency Response Plans.
    • Administers SAP functions to control and disposition inventory accurately, including electronic transactions, documentation and communication.
    • Duties will include offloading raw material inventory, transitioning inventory into products, cycle counting, generating bills of lading, shipment release forms, product labeling, and database entry and accountabilities, etc
    • Responsibility to keep work areas clean and organized, including tapping stations, loading areas, tank farm areas, associated hose stations.
    • Order Essential Raw Materials and follow up on deliveries, reconcile, COA, TMS, issues and responsible for MRP.
    • Print or email indirect POs as requested.
    • Enter Goods Receipts, POs and project elements into SAP. Process “Urgent Invoices” to corporate
    • Operation of chemical dispensing processes to properly package chemical products by strictly following protocol to generate quality products.
    • Duties will include operating dispensing equipment, including valves, pumps, flow meters, level detection, filters, scales, labeling materials, forklifts, process monitoring equipment.
    • Transfer of product materials to and from warehousing onsite into a variety of shipping forms, including bulk and box truck shippers.
    • Duties will include processing paperwork, interacting with shippers and vendors to ship/receive products accurately and safely to the proper container, carrier or destination.
    • Ensures shipments are executed with high quality level and in compliance with current policies, including standards of Package Condition, Freeze Protection Policy, Quality Picture policy


    • H.S. Diploma / A.S or Certificate Program Preferred
    • 1-3yrs previous manufacturing / shipping experience, preferably in a chemical environment
    • Microsoft Office, SAP and Lotus Notes experience a plus
