    Main Responsibilities of the Credit Representative are:


    • Diversified portfolio: Accountable for approximately 250 customers in North America and approximately 12 million dollars of monthly trade AR.

    • Manage the collection of an assigned AR portfolio with a focus on improving current AR % and reducing the bad debt reserve requirement.
    • Phone and e-mail reminders along with internal software tool, customer portal inquiries and ensuring customer payments are made according to agreed terms.
    • Review and release of time sensitive blocked customer orders.
    • Monitor approvals of customer payment term requests in North America.
    • Reconciliation/application of short payments and unapplied payments. Completion of customer maintenance before month end AR close.


    Support in areas for:


    • Work collaboratively with Sales to reduce customer past dues.
    • Root cause analysis with Customer Service to mitigate the risk of invoice discrepancies.
    • Assisting the Solenis Credit Manager/Supervisor on special projects as needed.


    • AS / BS Degree in finance, accounting or business administration or equivalent work experience.
    • Computer skills (MS Office, Outlook) – IT Literate.
    • Flexible team player.
    • Well organized and pro-active with regards to improvements and process management.
    • ERP SAP knowledge is preferred
    • Experience with Avantgard GetPaid or similar collection software.
    • 2 years of credit and collections experience.
