    Description

    The position is based at the Solenis Wilmington, DE headquarters and is responsible to assure the correct classification of Solenis products marketed globally. The position is responsible for providing global product safety support to internal and external customers including matters dealing with global regulatory agencies. The person will be part of a global world-class Product Regulatory and EH&S team contributing to the success across all regions.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Master or PhD Degree in toxicology, molecular biology, biochemistry or similar;
    • 2-3 years of relevant experience within the chemical or related industry are of advantage;
    • Experience with SAP system is an advantage;
    • Demonstrated proficiency with GHS and CLP systems;
    • Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory programs such as USEPA (TSCA), ECHA (REACH) as well as other global regulatory practices within the chemical industry
    • Ability to work collaboratively with peers
    • Fast learner with a flexible style and the ability to adjust to changing business priorities
    • Highly accountable: solution-, results- and action-oriented
    • Excellent verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks / projects simultaneously
    • Self-starter with ability to think and act independently and to make sound recommendations and decisions
    • Knowledge of SAP systems
