    Description

    Principal Duties of the Material Coordinator:

    • Process requests from Sales, Production, etc. related to inventory control, shipping and receiving activities.
    • Schedule pick up and/or delivery of material as necessary.
    • Assist in the accurate count of inventory for finished and trading goods as well as raw materials as they relate to W-14.
    • Coordinate with warehouse personnel and material handling to resolve quantity issues.
    • Create and ship labels as necessary.
    • Place orders for supplies as necessary
    • Participate in physical inventories.
    • Prepare and ship samples and pails as necessary.
    • Comply with the company’s EHSQ policies.
    • Adhere to all aspects of Responsible Care®.

    Additional Duties:         

    • Assist in training and development of personnel.
    • Complete Learning Management System courses as required.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma
    • Some college preferred or related experience, as well as training in the SAP computer system entry and retrieval (WMS), and computer data spreadsheets.
    • It would require approximately two years of previous experience in computerized warehousing to learn common practices, terms, etc.
