We currently have an exciting opening for an Equipment Service Technician located in Little Rock AR Area.  Our Equipment Service team, located throughout North America, is responsible for installing and repairing Solenis owned chemical feed equipment at customer locations. The ideal candidate will have both a mechanical aptitude and be skilled in electrical troubleshooting.


Day to day tasks of this role include:

  • Manage a que of work orders for equipment service at customer sites
  • Work both independently and on small work teams as needed
  • Install and repair diaphragm, gear, piston, progressive cavity style chemical pumps
  • Wire and program mag flow meters and variable frequency drives
  • Work with pipe and tubing, including PVC glued pipe, threaded stainless steel pipe, plastic tubing, and flexible hose
  • Install and do basic troubleshooting PID and PLC controllers (we will provide training)
  • Troubleshoot and repair prebuilt chemical feed systems
  • Test run equipment after repairs or installation
  • Order and stock spare parts and supplies for their service van
  • Connect customer supplied signal wires inside an electrical control panel on Solenis equipment
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with local Solenis sales teams to help promote productive customer relationships
  • Electronically document all work via a mobile phone or company laptop
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, including personal safety, both at customer locations and in compliance with all Solenis policies regarding environmental, health & safety.


Eligibility Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Eligibility to work within the USA
  • Located in the Little Rock AR area
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the AR, OK and Western TN to complete equipment installs (overnight travel estimated at 25%)
  • Ability and willingness to work in a hands-on environment and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability and willingness to work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management skills and a disciplined work behavior 
  • Strong team working skills to meet customer expectations and troubleshoot difficult technical issues
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire for continuous, independent learning

Desired Experience:             

  • Reading electrical and P&ID schematics
  • Previous experience with and working knowledge of chemical feed equipment including troubleshooting
  • Experience completing service tickets and work permits
  • Experience with electrical and plumbing maintenance in an industrial setting
